I was just given an Olympus Stylus 880 Digital camera a few months ago for a birthday present and today when I was using it all of the sudden it wouldn’t let me take any pictures or video’s and the lens wont go in and everytime I try to turn off the camera or take a picture video/it makes this really weird crackling sound. Since it was a gift I dont have the receipt or anything to get insurance on it to get it fixed since I think that there is something faulty with it.
what should I do? and can anyone please give me estimates of prices of how much its going to have to get it fixed? its virtually brand new so I dont know whats wrong with it!
